Fabric Dyeing with Faux Snow – Overdyed

Yesterday I shared some photos of my snow faux dyed fabric. I wasn’t totally happy with a couple of the pieces so I overdyed them using a violet color dye. Adding another color into the collection has really made a huge difference in a good way.
Cotton fabric before overdyeing. It had an unattractive green halo around the edges of the white markings.

After overdyeing. The green tinge has been toned down and I like it much better.

Silk organza fabric before overdyeing. The color was a bit boring and dull.

After overdying. It has more color variation and looks more interesting.

So with an overdye, I went from this fabric collection

to this, which I think is much more interesting don’t you think.
