Beautiful Hand-Dyed Fabrics in the Colors of Nature

The next best thing to teaching others how to hand-dye fabrics and fibers, is seeing the results of their efforts, and the fabric collections which are being produced during the current session of my Fragments of Nature Workshop are simply beyond beautiful.
It’s easy to see the colors of nature reflected in these fabrics, threads and fibers, and not just the deep earthy tones, but the beautiful brights as well. Thank you to all the students who generously share photos of their work – it inspires us all.
Last week we completed the hand-dyeing section of this workshop and are now getting ready to produce some stitched textile art during the coming weeks. I can’t wait to see how it all turns out!
Fragments of Nature will be offered again in October 2018 and you can sign up for the notification list here. If you can’t wait that long, the next session of the Assemblage Hand-Dyeing Online Workshop begins on 2nd July 2018. You can sign up for that notification list here.
