Make a decorative stitch sampler

Most modern sewing machines have dozens of decorative and utility stitches that you can use to embellish and add decorative surface design to your sewing projects, however it’s usually quite difficult to know exactly what these stitches will look like when they are sewn out. Making a stitch sampler to use as a handy reference guide is a great idea. Simply sew a short row of each stitch onto a piece of fabric and keep it by your sewing machine for times when you need it.
