I used this product to handsew a tulle tear. The thread is as thin and clear as I hoped, but it still behaves more like fishing line than regular thread so it was difficult to work with for my purpose. You can see in my photo how it coils. The thread is invisible, but the tear is still visible because the edges of the tulle overlap - it's not the thread's fault. I think it was still a good product for the job. One little benefit is it's very easy to thread the needle because there is no fraying.
