FAQs: Classes & Workshops

Because everyone learns in a different way, some of my classes include multi-media components including online videos, written tutorials that can be viewed online, downloadable pdf files and eBooks that can be viewed offline.

Viewing Requirements

All workshop and class videos are available for viewing online, and are streamed on a secure remote server which offers the best viewing experience. A high speed internet connection is recommended when viewing the videos.

Classes are suitable for viewing on a desktop computer or on a tablet such as ipad. Viewing the classes using cell phones is not recommended, and problems associated with viewing on cell phones are not supported.

If viewing on a tablet, depending on the size of your viewing screen, the sidebar of this website containing the links to your lessons can roll underneath the page content. Simply scroll down the page until you see them. Alternatively you could try viewing in landscape mode.

When viewing on a mobile device, the mobile menu of this website may become active. It looks like three little bars on the top right of the screen.

Clicking on the bars will expand the menu

Problems Viewing Videos

All workshop and class videos are streamed on a secure remote server which offers the best viewing experience, and a high speed internet connection is recommended when viewing the videos. If you are experiencing problems viewing the videos, try these solutions:

  • Some of the workshops include multiple videos on one page. Watch only one video at a time before moving on to the next.
  • If the video is stuttering and pausing, this is most likely caused by fluctuations in your internet connection so make sure that there is nothing interfering with your connection. A high speed internet connection is recommended. You could also try contacting your internet provider for additional solutions.
  • If your computer shares an internet connection with other devices, it could also interfere with your internet connection.
  • Make sure your browser is up-to-date.
  • Close any other tabs or windows you might have open in your browser.
  • Disable any ad blockers or other browser extensions that could interfere with viewing videos.
  • Try viewing the videos on a different browser.
  • Sometimes your computer settings can be changed or modified to provide better viewing. A google search for your specific problem and computer setup may offer a solution.

What happens when I register for a class or workshop?

When making one-time payments you can pay by credit card or Paypal via the Paypal website. You don’t need a Paypal account to pay by credit card. To pay by credit card, select the “pay with a debit or credit card” option located at the bottom of the Paypal check out page.

Once your order is processed, you will be returned to this website.

If you have already created a classroom account – log into the classroom where you will find a link to your class.

If you have not created a classroom account – complete the details to create a classroom account and you will be automatically logged in.

If for some reason you are not returned to the website, please check your inbox where you will receive several emails:
– an order receipt
– an email that contains a link to register an account for the online classroom, if you are not already registered
– a welcome note from me

Once logged into the classroom, access to your classes and workshops will be available on your class dashboard and also as a separate link located in the sidebar of the class webpage.

How to Reset Your Password

Your username and password are selected by you when you set up your account in the online classroom. It’s always a good idea to write this information down so you don’t forget it. If you do forget your password you can email me and request it, however for security reasons it’s not possible to resend your password. If you forget your password you’ll need to reset it using the steps below.

Go to the login page here.
Click the “Forgot Password?” link.

Reset Password

Type in the email address that you used to register for the online class or workshop.

Click the submit button which will send you an email with a reset link.

Reset Password

Once the email arrives in your inbox, click the link to open the Reset Password page.

NOTE: If you don’t receive the email or it ends up in spam, please whitelist my email address and try again: [email protected]

If clicking the link doesn’t work, simply copy and paste it into your browser. Make sure that you select the complete link as sometimes they can “break” or become separated into multiple lines, which causes them to scroll around to the next line. This happens because of the way that your email reader handles long links. However you can easily tell if that has happened by looking closely at the link.

Reset Password

Type your new password in the “Password” field. Type the same password in the “Confirm Password” field.
It’s always a good idea to write down your new password and keep a record of it safe so you don’t forget it.
Click the “Submit” button and you will be returned to the login page.

Reset Password

Enter your username and new password which will give you access to your online account.

NOTE: If your browser autofills the username and password fields, clear them first, then manually type the correct information.

IMPORTANT! Usernames and passwords are case sensitive so make sure the CAPSLOCK key on your keyboard is not engaged.

Refunds & Cancellations

Self-paced classes and workshops
There are no refunds for self-paced classes and workshops. All sales are final.

Classes and workshops that have a scheduled start and end date
Refunds are available up until the date the class or workshop commences. After that date no refunds are available.

Payment Plans

Payment Plans
I offer payment plans on some of my classes and workshops as a way to make the financial burden a little easier for you. When making payments via a payment plan you will have immediate access to the class or workshop, just the same as if paying in full.

Once your complete payment plan has been completed and the class fee is paid in full you will continue to have lifetime access to the class or workshop and you can log into the online classroom at any time 24/7 to view your lessons and download the files.

If you decide at any time to cancel the payment plan or your payment fails to process for any reason prior to full payment being made, your online account will automatically be revoked and you will no longer have access to the class or workshop. You will then need to contact me to resolve this issue.
