Allow yourself plenty of time to browse through these websites; you might have to pace yourself there’s just too much to see all at once! Grab a cup of coffee and let’s get going.

Embellishment Village

Angelina fibers, beads, charms, books, patterns, kits – too much to mention! I’ve used lots of embellishments from Embellishment Village; they are soooo beautiful, and their bead soups in the Embellishment Buffet section are just delicious. You won’t be able to stop at one pack. Go nuts!

Fire Mountain Gems

Need a bead? If you can’t find it at Fire Mountain Gems, then there must something wrong. They have one of the largest collection of beads, gems and findings on the internet – clay beads, glass beads, gemstones, cabochons, wood and nut beads, list goes on. All designed to tempt you of course, but do you need an excuse? They also have some nice tutorials. You’ll need an extra cup of coffee to make your way through this site.

Joggles

If you haven’t visited Joggles yet, you’re in for a treat. They have all sorts of establishments to tempt you; beads and charms of course, but also foils, stamps, color pencils and paintsticks, Stef Francis embellishments (my absolute favorites) and simply too much to mention. You’ll definitely want to bookmark this site.

Meinketoy.com

Meinketoy has simply delicious stuff for textile artists. Books, sari stuff, paints and colors, scrims, also carries Stef Francis stuff, beautiful threads and fibers, and lots of stuff for surface design. This is another site you’ll definitely want to bookmark.

Phew!! Are you inspired yet? Or maybe your credit card just took a beating. Either way, stop by tomorrow for some more inspirational titivations.

This post is part of the 30 Days of Titivations; a 30 day blogathon all about embellishing and embellishments.

You can find lots of free embellishment tutorials in the tutorials section of my blog which can be found here, and even more techniques can be found on my Titivations DVD. Please visit the Instructional DVD section of the store for full details.

I’ve been asked by many of you where I get my invisible magnetic snaps from. Invisible magnetic snaps are small, thin magnetic discs encased in a pocket of plastic. The plastic has enough width around the edges so that you can easily sew the snaps into the lining of your project. They are a brilliant idea! You can find a tutorial on how to attach them here.

I use these types of magnetic snaps for most everything these days; I love that they are quite easy to attach and there is no visible attachment to detract from the appearance of my projects. They are also *super* strong and can easily close even when working through multiple layers of fabric and/or stabilizer.

I use them on all my art bags and in the photo below you can see where it closes, that there is – well, nothing to see!

I get my invisible magnetic snaps from Tantalizing Stitches on Artfire. She has all sorts of sizes so you’re sure to find something that suits, and she also has all sorts of other bag making supplies if you need them.

Happy snapping! Invisibly of course.
