I finally finished the small canvas art textile I began work on the other day and I love the way it turned out. And I especially like it matched with this background fabric.

The hand stitching was perfect using the blended thread technique which you can find here.

And outlining the petals with a row of machine stitching really makes them stand out.

I liked the print so much I’m making a quilt with it, and I’ve already pulled some fabrics. Can’t wait to get started!
